  4. I'll go further, if abortion is a right then men have to have it as well. You don't CONSENT to being a father, she's forced to have an abortion at your order. BOTH parents have to consent to birth, or the child has to be prevented. Equality. THEN NO ONE can say they didn't want this kid, you agreed to have it, now you're BOTH responsible for it equally. Just like I think divorce should mean the state takes EVERYTHING and your kids go go foster care, both man and wife end up on the street with zero. If that was the possible outcome, you'd be DAMN sure you really want to marry who you marry for life. Divorce rate, bastard rate, drops to almost zero.

Strom Thurmond, the senator who gave the longest filibuster in US Senate history against the Civil Rights Act WAS THE LEADER OF THE DEMOCRAT CAUCUS AT THAT TIME. He switched to being a Republican AFTER THAT in protest against his own party for NOT being racist enough. How is this not something you know?

  7. FURTHERMORE, if you look at the vote records, which you can look up, more Republicans voted FOR the civil rights act than democrats, and more democrats voted no than republicans did. Without as many Republican votes as it got the Act would have failed horribly. This is objective, factual stuff regardless of personal view or feelings, it's just historical record and math. There's no excuse to be ignorant to it.
