  1. All communists are socialists but not all socialists are communists. One of the oddities of WW2 has always been to me how natural political ALLIES the Nazis and the Soviets fought each other. The scary part is, by many accounts, the sole reason they didn't take over the world together was Hitler being a dick and personally insulting Stalin, and him being willing to sacrifice millions of his own people in response.

  2. Like I learned in history classes, all communists are socialists but not all socialists are communists. It's like white people, black people, Hispanic people, but they're still all people, the same thing. Socialism is socialism.

I hear that in the Midwest US where I grew up all the time, oh look at so and so rich farmer, look at that $300k combine, that $150k tractor, driving that $100k diesel truck...right, and wait till you see his monthly expenses. I know these people, and they have ONE failure, one bad year, it's a house of cards. And with the way our system is today it's precarious because that one big farmer folds, it's bad for his family sure, but he stops farming that's food for THOUSANDS of other people gone from the system. That's keeps happening, before long there are no more 'rich farmers' leveraging to the max to feed everyone, you have to feed yourself. It's not sustainable.
