  1. Here's what I would say to those people. Do you value individuality and critical thinking? Yes? Then why would you be angry at me for using those tools and coming to my own reasoned, valid conclusions? Because they're different than YOURS? Why would I WANT to be friends with people of such limiting beliefs? You guys can do better, I know that, and I can respect you for not agreeing with me. Can you?

I went to college with Kuwaitis, and if Saddam was even shown on TV they'd leave the room, they were CONVINCED he was still alive, that he was TOO POWERFUL to die, that he'd made the US fake his death to escape justice, and he could still have them snatched up and murdered at any time. Because they'd all had friends snatched up off the street by Saddam and murdered back in KC. He was so much of a boogeyman, had been so well propagandized, he was like an evil god in their minds.
