  1. If you go into dealmaking with the preconception that the other person is going to break any deal you agree to, then there's no point in dealing at all in any way. That's bad faith on your part in that case. If You assume I am going to reneg on any deal I agree to, F you I'd say, I'm not wasting my time. That's the issue here. It's like black people and the police, no matter how well the cops act, the presupposition is they're rabid racists who will just outright murder them, so why be anything better? There's a lot of game theory involved here.

  8. Those nukes belonged to the Russian federation, that was also decided under international treaty. Ukraine never had a nuclear weapons program. It would be like the US keeping ICBMs in Germany, and Germany saying they were theirs.

  12. The sole question is this, does Ukraine want to end the war with X% of SOMETHING, or end the war with 100% of nothing? Everything is irrelevant besides that. That's the choice, do you want something, or nothing? Everything is not on the table for you. Suing for peace is the BEST case.
