I had a friend in college that was a history major, specifically cold war history. I remember him taking a class that only covered the communist revolution in I think it was Romania, a VERY specific and contained period of time, one event. He said on day one the instructor told them not to buy the textbook if you didn't want to, because they would be using him as a primary source BECAUSE HE WAS THERE, he lived through it. That's real education.

Meanwhile, Elon, literally an African-American.

@shadowedknight66 It's like the old "Donald Trump said it's cold and raining" but we fact checked and in fact it was only sprinkling and the temperature was 63F which is not considered cold, so that's two more Trump LIES!

Remember that not even dictionaries are not reliable, because definitions are copyrighted. It's why every dictionary has a different definition from every other one, they have to by law.

Last time I saw a Steve Shives video, Elon was a hero of the left that was going to save us all with his new Teslas.

@Caper1144 Right, and Hugo and Jake from Bible Reloaded. All that sort of fell by the wayside.

That same thing is what made me an Alex Jones fan for the most part, he says something that sounds crazy, and you think what fringe weirdo source did this info come from, OH, that's an ABC news article. Oh, that crazy story was from CBS. It reminds me of that great Hunter S Thompson story, where he was telling everyone he knew the political story that tanked a politicians career was fake. How do you know it's fake Mr Thompson? Because I was the one that fabricated it. Not my fault it was close enough to reality that you just bought it. That's why satire is so difficult today, reality is so actually crazy that making fun of it just seems real.

Saying LibsOfTiktok is an unreliable source reminds me of pointing to something Alex Jones says as crazy, and said Alex Jones statement is just him reading something ABC news reported as factual. Was it crazy when ABC reported it, or did it become crazy when it was just repeated by someone else? I've even seen it loop around, Mainstream news reports thing, show host repeats thing, mainstream news reports show host said crazy thing even though it was literally that mainstream outlets own reporting.

Wikipedia is A great resource, A. ONE. It's a good jumping off point to gather and see sources from. That's about it. On some topics it's not bad though, usually they're very objective topics, like math and chemistry for example, things there are only ONE answer for that is well known. As long as there is no room for opinion the info can be good, or it won't even be there.

It's not all that woke or liberal to be talking about an African-American like Elon Musk that way, Steve.
