One half of one half of one third is still enough to win. Here's an example, St Louis County MO banned smoking, countywide, million residents. Voted to make it illegal to smoke indoors anywhere. It was an off year election and the measure passed by 60% OF THE VOTES CAST. The turnout was only 3% of the registered voters. 1.6-ish % of the electorate, which itself is only half the entire population, made that massive change for a million people. That's why you HAVE to vote! If you don't it counts for nothing. You can't complain if you don't vote.

I was just listening to the first part of this in the car, then I get inside and start watching, what a difference, it's REFRESHING to see someone's actual young kids in the Oval Office...first time in my 41 year life I think. All our Presidents and staff have been so OLD. It's a present reminder "Hey, we're playing with people's futures here, stop f-ing around".

I'm a municipal government worker, want to see all my payroll checks, file a free form, by law they'll give you my payroll checks to audit, or those of any other worker. It's called Sunshine law.   30. That's the great thing about working hard and hitting my 40s. Whenever I show up to work IS on time. I'm the Department Director, I am the constant everyone else revolves around and adjusts to. That's the great thing about being the only one who knows how things work, my boss calls me to ask me when I'm working so he can setup a time to come to MY office if he wants something, and he's a decade younger than me.
