I can't count the number of times I watch my late mother go to 'the boat' to play penny slots, start with $100, be up to thousands at one point, and leave with $0. "But I had a good time". I guess that's all that matters, right? I go in to play poker with $20, leave with $200 and complain I didn't do better.

When you ask why isn't the government doing anything, remember, in the United States cannabis, hard drugs, prostitution, and underage drinking are ABSOLUTELY illegal nationwide, which is why you never see anyone in the US engaging in those activities or behaviors, obviously. Remember that the music video for 'God's Plan' they allegedly gave away a million dollars cash to random people making the music video, so it plays to his image to be giving cash out to people. He gives away millions, it dupes people into profiting him and his handlers billions.
