  1. I'd argue that anytime you KNOW there's a camera on you, EVERY action you take is performative. The only way to capture a genuine 'outburst' or meltdown on video is surreptitiously. I would give a lot more credence to one of these car meltdowns if it was video from an unrelated bystander recording it because they saw someone hiding out in their car freaking out. It's NOT normal behavior to WANT your freakout publicized, because a real freakout is never flattering.
