  1. Who DOESN'T try to enrich themselves in office? That's the whole point! Even if that enrichment is by helping your community and improving things for all, that's still self-interest.

  2. The State does NOT kill you via the death penalty. YOU kill yourself because murdering someone else, taking their life, FORFEITS YOUR OWN LIFE. YOU sentenced yourself to death via your own actions, the State is just carrying your suicide out. IN Canada today, you don't even need to go to the trouble of committing a major crime for the state to offer to kill you lol, #MAID

  3. "It's out of the curriculum, so you CAN'T LEARN ABOUT IT!" Just because something is not in the cirruculum doesn't mean it's banned or deleted forbidden knowledge lol. I was reading Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World and 1984 in grade school, I just acquired the book and read it. No one made me or stopped me lol. I read Animal Farm in middle school, so It was weird when we covered it in senior year English class finally.

  4. There's merit to the SCOTUS idea of incentivizing pedo murder like stated. We had this issue with the drug war. Before, getting caught dealing drugs was no big deal, 5-10 years, no reason to murder anyone...but they changed it to mandatory life in prison, suddenly you had incentive to leave no witnesses, since drug dealing was the same penalty as murder, why not just murder anyone who gets in your way, and murder EXPLODED in that era, hundreds of times increases, because WHY NOT? This guy could snitch on me for selling to him, and the penalty is the same as if I kill him so he won't talk, SOLD, bang.
