Conscious inertia, also today known as Analysis Paralysis. Where you have so much bounty, variety, choice, freedom, and information on just about any decision that you spend insane amounts of time analyzing what you should or should not do that you end up doing nothing.
It's how I feel in the cereal aisle, for a great example: All I want is original Kellog's Corn Flakes, but look at these 5390 other options...maybe I should try one of them, but what if I don't like it, now I'm stuck with a box of cereal, but what if it's amazing and I'm FOMO....wait, do I even WANT cereal for breakfast that often? Fuck this, I'm making omelettes.
I've gotten over most of that by prioritizing importance of decisions. What kind of cheese do I want for my omelettes? Who TF cares, grab cheddar and whatever else you're considering, it's like $2, so what, not worth the time to overthink it.
