Conscious inertia, also today known as Analysis Paralysis. Where you have so much bounty, variety, choice, freedom, and information on just about any decision that you spend insane amounts of time analyzing what you should or should not do that you end up doing nothing.
It's how I feel in the cereal aisle, for a great example: All I want is original Kellog's Corn Flakes, but look at these 5390 other options...maybe I should try one of them, but what if I don't like it, now I'm stuck with a box of cereal, but what if it's amazing and I'm FOMO....wait, do I even WANT cereal for breakfast that often? Fuck this, I'm making omelettes.
I've gotten over most of that by prioritizing importance of decisions. What kind of cheese do I want for my omelettes? Who TF cares, grab cheddar and whatever else you're considering, it's like $2, so what, not worth the time to overthink it.

Life is all about making the least worst choice.
When faced with a ballot featuring a murderous Reptilian oligarch, an American businessman, and White Fidel Castro, I wasn't left with much choice.
If that box had 'Rand or Ron Paul' next to it, I would have filled it in.
All politics aside, I won't vote for another Clinton OR a Bush, because this is the United States and we don't do 'Dynasties'.
Run better candidates. You're telling me that in a nation of nearly 350 million people, Hillary and Bernie were the only 2 they came up with? Did they set their candidate search to filter out every possible under minimum retirement age? I'm 34, where Is our generations JFK? No matter who won this cycle they would take office as the oldest US President.
As far as being qualified, hell, in 10 months I'll be 100% qualified to be President. Any 35 year old Natural Born Citizen with the preceding 14 years of US residency is 100% qualified. Anything beyond that is arbitrary and completely subjective. We've let Ivy League grads with 'experience' run the country for over a century, and it's been about the worst century so far.
Maybe let's not run Rich Old Man/Lady 2020?
