Now I'm confused, all my Milwaukees say M-18 Fuel on them, and I thought the 'Brushless' was the better, more expensive line. It certainly is for their signature product, The Sawzall.

What about RTIC?

I'd destroy them in a year. Not even red wings hold up in actual hard use, like my water plant. Constant water and pure chlorine gas exposure kills $500 boots in a year or so. So my employer buys me new boots every year. KEENS are the best I've ever tried, after all these.

Wouldn't you know it, the one weight I need for my car, Amazon Basics is not available in. I need 10w40. BMW E36 2.8

No Keens. All I buy after trying all of those over the years.

Look at RTIC. They've been sued by Yeti at least once for being too similar. Excellent products.

In the real world, when I use penetrating oil, I spray it HARD right now, the day before, then when I go to work on whatever it is the next day, I spray it again before I start trying to remove. If it's a small enough whatever, keeping a 5 gallon bucket of used motor oil is great for dropping seized or corroded things into to pre-soak.

It's been however many years now, and I still ask before I buy a new tool "Is there a Project Farm test of these?".

Work boot laces = make your own with 550 Paracord

Another place that's true: bearings. Especially bearings that need to be pressed into place. Putting them in the freezer the night or day before you work with them can mean the difference between it slipping right into the bore, or needing to be forced with everything you got.

I only use Shell V-Power Nitro+ for 2 reasons: My vehicle tune requires minimum 91 octane, preferably 93 octane, and where I live the Shell premium gas product costs the same as any other premium fuel of similar octane. Reason 2 is the Shell Fuel Rewards program, giving a 0.05 or more per gallon discount that usually puts its cost lower than competing brands. That said, as far as 'butt dyno' results, my preferred fuel is Premium 93 octane from a VP Fuels gas station.

Your employer doesn't buy new boots at least once a year? I never thought my municipal job would have better benefits than a oil job. $160/year allowance for 30 years, that's almost $5k they nabbed from ya. Keen boots, made in the US, is where I settled after trying all these, including red wings. I work in a water treatment plant, 12,000 steps a day plus running 3 miles a day.

The Milwaukee is an even better option today when it is only $75 for the bare tool.

Found this video after ordering my Milwaukee pole saw last week, but I already have a dozen other Fuel tools and batteries, and I got the saw and extension pole for $225 through Northern. Should work fine.

Red wings last almost a year here in my water plant. Nothing lasts more than a year, so no reason to get too expensive. $250 Keens last just as long as $600 red wings here. My boss even spent hundreds having his red wings refurbished after a year before he gave up, several hundred bucks each time. Constant moisture, fire house blasting, and constant pure chlorine gas, it's over. Stainless steel falls apart here if it's exposed to air too long. Also, we use sodium permanganate, and it burns through everything, especially leather.
