@murtazarizvi368 If she were not a celebrity, the county prosecutor would already be empaneling a grand jury. But..Smollett.
2
Charles Manson had lifelong fans too. It doesn't mean anything.
2
Tell Emelia Clarke to wait by the phone, I think her agent will be calling.
1
Johnny has the scars to prove it.
1
Justice is rarely certain, and even then, it is very slow. Today is a win for the good guys.
1
I have been thinking that also.
1
She had the win, all she had to do is shut up and make money,
1
In the US, a jury can give more weight to testimony if they find the person more believable.
1
No need, a sociopath really does not care about the distinction.
1
She could have just stipulated all of that on day one and skipped the career-ending lies.
1
Stop there with the admission; don't give her a chance to "walk it back".
1
@gtavmj-1852 This batch of lawyers has washed their hands of her.
1
@Brianna Jenell I'm waiting for mug shots. It wont be long.
1
She should have stipulated to all of that weeks ago, and spared herself a LOT of humiliation.
1
@LimonMitZukerki It is almost impossible for a celebrity to prove all of the elements of defamation. JD's case was unwinnable but for Amber's endless lies.
1
@beccagee5905 Hyperbole
1
Her team is constantly blindsided because Amber did not tell them enough truth to be prepared. Her mental issues make it impossible for her to even admit any faults to her attorneys.
1
Team JD got their best testimony against Ms Heard by triggering her disorder. Amber would have done much better to follow the deposition rule: "Yes, No, I don't know." When Dr Curry was asked an ambiguous question, she would answer "No" then the lawyer would have to re-ask, giving her an opening to state why the answer was "no as asked, because...".
1
They are pros.
1
@Nicholas_Chen_ Somebody's going to pay, a narc can't endure a loss.
1
@RedArtistx Its not like we didn't watch her pretend to for weeks.
1
He was saved by that wound from being on trial for murder.
1
No rioters were shot by Kyle while setting fires.
1
It is never good to hiss at the jury.
1
She makes me think of Clarence Darrow in the Leopold and Loeb trial.
1
I've known them to not have a bed for them so they just cut them loose after a couple of hours. She sounds like that's what happened.
1
Whitney did not want to be stranded at the courthouse.
1
Studios are businesses that risk hundreds of millions on a film. They are risk averse and will not consider someone who brings off-script drama to their doorstep.
1
@mzznewyork5406 She'll be driving home from her bail hearing, badly.
1
None of those judgements are going to be paid for years, but her income stream just became a drip forever.
1
That's a "Public Official" No one would argue that Elon Musk or Bill Gates are not public figures. O.J. Simpson is a public figure. Public Officials are one of the types of public figures.
1
Smollett
1
@knightman7203 Tells his boss: "Shut up, I'm making a record."
1
Real actual not fake fact checkers They did not even object when Kyle was asked what he thought the rioters were thinking. Their silence stunned me.
1
It went from, "I didn't write it about Johnny" to "I wrote it to get even with Johnny because I envied him."
1
Who?
1
It's not that Amber has a casual acquaintance with the truth, but rather that truth is a complete stranger.
1
@melmel7011 Amber's sworn testimony during rebuttal/ cross examination.
1
You never met my ex.
1
It has taken on a feel like "Inherit the Wind". It's going to be a great miniseries.
1
Under pressure, a narc's careful plans collapse into a brawl. Amber was about two questions short of screaming "I ordered the code red!"
1
He did state that if he practiced ethically, he would not be able to practice.
1
Camille should have immediately said "Ms. Heard has just admitted to each element of our claim; the plaintiff rests." Let that admission be the last thing the jury hears.
1
Well, he DID manage to say that the "Cluster B" disorders (that AH WAS diagnosed) are indicators for DV.
1
The judge is quite literally counting down he minutes left for this circus.
1
Depp needed Amber to be on the defense personally so that she'd bring her narcissistic "A Game" for the world to see. A dry civil suit against a newspaper for an article is a yawner that no one would have seen.
1
She wore her funeral dress for a reason, she's evil but not delusional.
1
He could not shoot me; I was unarmed because I had already thrown my weapon at him.
1
@joshuacraner1072 Absolutely. The rule of law means nothing in the US anymore.
1
You give the answer to the jury to include them and have them identify with you. When giving snarky or mean answers, you should address those to the lawyer. You DON'T want them feeling like they are in a duel.
