@peterp3538 In the context of international relations, it is possible to be an "Expert" in anticipating US responses and intentions. It is really not necessary to know what people eat in Louisiana, or the favorite sport, or reality show in Minnesota to have expertise in US affairs helpful to a foreign leader.

@peterp3538 In the US, we get to hear a lot of differing opinions and, as thoughtful people we each weigh the validity of what we hear. He might be right and he might be dead wrong; at least our diverse population can access easily many points of view and choose what we will.
