  2. By that rather infantile logic, WW2 would have been shortened by the US supplying arms to both the UK and Germany. That is not really how it works. It IS true that self-defense does take longer than surrender, but the long-fought Battle of Britain ended in victory for the weaker force, while surrender would have cost a lot less in the short term.

  4. I think a stall CAUSED Putin to offer (previously rejected) talks to allow a real resupply opportunity. Those trains of vehicles and goods heading toward Ukraine from Russia have not stopped.

  7. Ukraine was the old soviet front lines in the cold war. It's full of hardened bunkers and people are using them.
