He chose the worst possible state to pull this stunt.

Expect a LOT of that for a very long time as all of these trials blunder their way through the necessary procedures with no cooperation.

@ME-pb2gf That kind of sums it up. This guy was trying to get a couple of his minions killed so they could ca$h in. He lost.

@victorvazquez7065 If a licensed attorney went to court with moorish sovereign arguments, he would absolutely lose his license. This is why you have never seen it done by a lawyer.

@weeknders "Open carry" states. It's not a SMART thing to do, but often it IS legal. They weren't "walking" they were driving across MA. Until one car ran out of gas, their little armed feet never touched the ground. In Georgia you can have a gun in your vehicle, no license/no problem. They chose Massachusetts. No license? HUGE problem. Even if their guns had remained in the car, they would have caught the same charges. I'm not really a fan of "open carry laws" but states get to choose their own laws and we live with them. Youtube is filled with idiots pushing "open carry" to the extreme limits". Some catch disorderly charges, some not. But they NEVER do that stuff in Blue states, and they don't catch felonies. These guys asked for trouble and got it.

@weeknders It's also not legal to travel on the interstate on foot. Yes, there was indeed some distance between their vehicles, requiring locomotion afoot. They really weren't charged with that. "Shit for brains" will have years to regret this prank.

"Standoff" is so much easier to say and process than "Public emergency incident where several armed men fled a traffic encounter on the break down lane of I-95 and rather than cooperate with the police ran into the woods and are hiding there with cover and concealment until either the negotiator convinces them to surrender or they get REALLY thirsty and surrender ending the Public emergency incident where several armed men fled a traffic encounter on the break down lane of I-95 and rather than cooperate with the police ran into the woods and are hiding there with cover and concealment." Its just easier to say "There is a standoff on I-95 until the suspects surrender and end the standoff". Because that's what it is.

@kingkhap3704 That's why it isn't a "firefight".

This is not how or by whom you want your case advocated.
