The founding fathers had a death penalty waiting for them if they lost and the Continental Army bled real blood from real bullets. If one starts a war by assaulting the government institutions in force, they wont be facing rubber bullets. White House, Capitol Building, Pentagon, US Supreme Court Bldg, Etc. are defended by deadly force.
