If she'd gone into politics instead of making jobs, she'd have been AOK.

There have been hundreds of career politicians milking the "insider trading" cash cow for decades and countless more will do so going forward if no one says "STOP!" It matters, EVERY ONE MATTERS, EVERY TIME. "At this point what difference does it make?" was the quote about a different failure by someone with an UNCANNY ability to make money in the futures market.

If we can get the rest of Congress as well, it'll be a good start. I seem to remember one millionaire congresswoman who could not afford a DC apartment when she took office.

@cze33e The 5% tariff on kickbacks!

When the tigers wage war, it is the gazelles who win.

As far as the Congressional "stock trade" cash cow, NOTHING is ever going to be done. Like the holy grail of term limits, the crooks on the inside have large enough numbers to protect their lucrative side business of corruption.

That IS a common means of getting convictions, we use it every day.

That;s an excellent reason to forgive and forget all of his former political/criminal cronies. That sort of thinking could save us big bucks by ending the witness protection program. Let the crook close the door to this crime on his way out.
1
So we should do the moral thing and let EVERY sort of corruption continue?

He sold us out cheap, the Clintons knew how to make the real ca$h.

Even worse, people are attacking the Biden crime family for even bringing it up.

The people COULD demand term limits and make them stick if we focus on the primaries, that would prevent the issue from being a partisan one. The people should demand that every primary candidate agree to sponsor term limits and vote for them on the FIRST VOTE. A primary candidate that does not make the pledge should be ignored by the voters. Because the candidate of each party will be on the same pledge, it's not partisan. Any candidate who is elected and breaks the pledge, gets his/her terms limited to one by the voters. It would only take one election cycle to get the House on board and two election cycles to get the majority of the Senate. Begging for term limits from sitting congressmen is stupid. Demanding it at election time is the way.

@michaelmartinez9622 If you go by the bidding.

If it were a family member of a stock broker, someone would go to prison.

@jenscheibner792 I lost count of the number of laws of which Congress exempted itself.

@RetGMTech He's no longer a senator and is cut off from the insider trading revenue stream, so it's now fair game. Losing the WH cut out a potential influence peddling gig as well.
1
@RetGMTech The same rules should apply to Trump as to Pelosi and Biden and Schumer et al. Of course only one of them is ever investigated...
