  1. These are not equally matched armies. Ukraine does not have the air power or the maneuver elements to take it on; they are fighting on multiple fronts with a fraction of the Russian force. TBH, that column looks like bait, to get the Ukrainians to go on offense, negating their defender advantage.

Of course, our military certainly can, just as they can make machineguns and nukes. The Ukrainian government published instructions on how to make them. So, I can assume that they won't send the bobbys around to pinch them. Since we're now talking about internal laws of sovereign nations, it SOUNDS like it's not a crime to build them for the Ukranian army. You made it appear that it was a war crime for the nation of Ukraine to make them to defend their sovereignty. You seem to be confused about the differences between local/national laws and international treaties. I blame the schools. Did you look up how it got its name?

  14. No one is going to initiate an extinction event over Ukraine. Then no one will initiate an extinction event over, Poland. Then no one will initiate an extinction event over Germany. Nukes have only one singular use, that of preventing an existential threat to those who have nukes. As long as no one is about to wipe out any nuclear powers, leaving them nothing to lose, the nukes are just for parades. Putin knows that he will never have to face nukes as long as he does not launch any; the west may one day figure it out. I see that his threat has had the desired effect, but launching nukes is suicidal and everyone knows it. Unless the West meets tank for tank and plane for plane, Putin will walk all over Europe.
