  3. Studies, reports and hearings are all just public theater. Grand juries are what the public wants. Let the people decide if there was a crime worth charges. It won't happen in DC. The political class never eats it's own. We allowed the corruption to grow for far too long and passed the point of no return. It doesn't matter who is President, he can sit in the oval office and make appointments or issue directives and no one will cooperate because there is no one in DC who is not compromised. We had a pretty good run for a couple of centuries.

  4. It was always going to be more reports and more hearings and no grand juries where The People decide if a thing is fit for prosecution. So far all of these decisions have been made by career bureaucrats. Just as our currency relies entirely on our faith in it, our nation relies on our faith in the justice system. When we lose all faith in the one or the other, chaos will be the result. They should beware.

  5. More political theater. Trump needed to reach out to people outside the beltway, with no political history to do the people's business. The President has strengths and weaknesses. Clearly by now he should be able to see that making appropriate appointments in the DOJ is not one of his strengths.

  7. Comey lies and admits to the lies and there are no charges. Material under subpoena are destroyed and no charges. An entire coup was attempted and no charges. To be honest. I don't think that either party actually has control over the apparatus of government at this point. It has become an unaccountable power unto itself.

  18. Our system was set up wisely to protect us from this degree of corruption. A Grand Jury of the public CAN ask for any evidence of crime that it wants to investigate, issue subpoenas and do not have to rely on appointed lackeys to bring them cases. We COULD still restore justice, but it seems unlikely. The grand jury is not told the extent of their power.

  30. None of us know anything about unmasking. But we saw Comey on video admit to lying to the FBI. Why no charges? The People are hanging onto threads awaiting SOMEONE to see a grand jury so that The People can decide if a thing is criminal or not.
