  7. The typical "shareholder" is a retirement fund or ETF which has bundled hundreds of stocks and is managed by a computer. My pension fund owns a lot of shares, but those of us who invested in that fund have no say in its management. As long as the board will not sell, he can attempt a takeover by buying stock, but the computers will buy against him, it's programmed in. I hope he can pull it off.
