  1. Your tribe moves to a dangerous zone. Your cat begins to glow and there are deaths and miscarriages. The cat is blamed and killed. More deaths. People will indeed learn to fear and dread glowing cats, but not places. Glowing cat= bad omen. Cats are hunted to extinction, problem solved.
