@supernovadramaqueen Philosophy majors do well in Law School. Clarity of thought and argument are always useful, even if a BA won't get you a job.

@Joshua Jones Virtually no one in need is being served by someone with a bachelors degree in psychology alone. Therapist? PhD. Psychiatrist? MD. The list goes on, and so does the list of advanced schools needed to add on to that psychology degree.

@jasmineionabrown6983 Talented people do very well in any field. It IS possible to receive a degree in a field for which you have no aptitude however.

@TraDLaw. Criminal Justice degrees exist as an avenue for police to earn raises. CSI is looking for bio/chem majors. BTDT. By all means study CJ if you want, but minor in a hard science and go for it. Outside of law enforcement / probation it has zero value. I minored in finance and that is what fed my family.

@TraDLaw. Law school is the one real use for a degree in philosophy. ( at least some courses) Avoid "Pre-Law". That's a "Product" that universities offer that law schools did not ask for.
