Guns down, hands up.

@6oevu4ok It'd be safer for everyone if the Russians just stayed home.
6
It's a good thing that Russia has demonstrated a lack of sophistication across the board.
4
@dylanhealy8126 At least both armies know how to say "I surrender" in this war.
4
Putin's War has done more damage to Russia than NATO would have.
3
Sometimes there are real men who step up. Glory to Canada! Oops, I mean Canadians!
2
@martinstephens4633 Yes. I have experienced the concussive effect of an explosion (not in a war) I stood, walked etc. But I did not know who I was, where I was, or what I was for about 30 seconds. (I am told it was that long before I was alert.) In movies, you have seen this depicted as the sound being shut off and slow motion.
2
@GameDiaries2014 It was. No Russian invasion = no destruction.
2
It almost makes you wonder who the human targets were that are seen running about the range, is this how Russia executes criminals or is it just "extra realistic" training?
2
As the age of the tank fades, like the age of the battleship did long ago.
2
As the "English understatement" I once heard went: "It was Very, very....less-than-satisfactory."
2
That's just how it is when someone invades your country and levels its cities over a "territorial dispute". If you invade MY home, that territory will be HOTLY disputed.
2
Russian armor does not have the numbers that they had two weeks ago.
2
I think Putin will be retiring for health reasons pretty soon.
2
We sent a strongly worded protest.
2
@thabomuso2575 I know that MY vehicle would suffer a breakdown way in the rear area.
2
@foxitt2266 Russia is bringing in trainloads of civilian trucks. Someone in logistics really dropped the ball.
2
Americans don't use our troops as cannon fodder. The US does move behind a wall of artillery shells so that more of our sons can come home. It works. Every war is ugly and brutal.

In an ideal world.
1
Their sales of this system are going to be great going forward.
1
Our young men are not the same sort that did D-Day; I'm guessing that these are not the same sort that did Stalingrad.
1
Putin can take Ukraine, but will never have the power to hold it.
1
That's how it is done. Heroes give their lives for THEIR country. Villains die for their orders.
1
Insurgents? Do you mean the soldiers of the invaded country fighting on the front lines? General Zhukov's "Insurgents" fought pretty hard in this same area.
1
@xx_mysticwolf_xx1492 Those are the targets that I would prefer. Why pick a fight with a battalion sized column?
1
@miriamweller812 Stragglers never exist in the Russian army Well, not for long.
1
@tk9839 The survivor of that recon platoon, trying to get back.
1
@italixgaming915 Imagine being that one tank that has a malfunction, but the LT says, "we must reach objective x by 11:00 Catch up if you can, or we'll pick you up on the way back." Perhaps a western army might do it differently, but the Russian army leaves little discretion to the lower commanders. This explains a LOT of vehicles being abandoned as well as stragglers. I wouldn't stay with a bomb magnet.
1
The entire Russian war machine grows weaker by the day. Ukraine is doing the whole world a solid.
1
@jamesdavis8731 The Russian emperor has no clothes.
1
Those deaths are a tragedy. Putin should have kept them at home.
1
The world should quake in fear. It's almost like a rogue regiment might invade a neighboring country and lay waste to its cities. Oh wait.
1
When your "victory" leaves you worse off than when you started.
1
The lack of bike trails was chilling.
1
Well, to be pedantic, they kind of do have AKs; but your meaning comes through. They need to make some IED's though.
1
Sometimes you get lucky; sometimes they get lucky. But if they wanted to go South, and you made them go Southeast, you interfered with their plans, and it helps.
1
It possible that many think it is a propaganda boogieman. For a while.
1
@ceessneek9242 Always recycle.
1
Sort of. The Afghan "army" got the country that they really wanted (they voted literally with their feet), and the Ukrainians are trying to have the country that they want.
1
Pressure wave concussion as the shock wave passes through your brain, shuts everything down for a moment. It CAN kill you without a mark on you.
1
Russia is a world power but not a superpower, and by the end of this conflict they may just be another nuclear armed backwater.
1
Historically, soldiers have shown reluctance to shoot enemy soldiers; the more the enemy is like them, the greater the reluctance. Soldiers will shoot at "targets": Tanks, Planes etc. with more ease. Rarely have soldiers been obliged to risk so much to accomplish so little.
1
IKR. I got too old, and have to watch in horror from safety.
1
Russia might "win" a pyrrhic victory from which they can never recover.
1
The age of the tank, now a tad over a century old, is coming to a close.
1
Made you click!
1
It looks like an arms industry sales video. Often that is the best footage available of a given weapons system.
1
How Russia became a client-state of China with one small war.
1
That has almost always been true of war. Pretty much everyone fighting would rather be doing something else.
1
Define "easily"
