Treason is very specifically spelled out in The Constitution and none of this meets those specifics, but I could think of a dozen felonies here easily.

@rfbedell347 Yes, I get tired of those KB warriors too, who confuse the moral concept of treason with the legal definition: Article III, Section 3, Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

@leagarner3675 I doubt that any of it could be explained to someone who thinks that "broke down the door of the FBI" is literal. That is shorthand for "Used illegal means to cause the FBI to waste a LOT of valuable resources investigating a hoax." I was addressing others who live outside the MSNBC Russian conspiracy theory bubble, not those who were too lazy to learn for themselves. Perhaps you could follow the trial on CNN. There is nothing to fear, your hero Hillary is always separated from anything "hands on" by two layers of lawyers; like any good mob boss. One of those lawyers is under indictment for this hoax. Not the hoax itself, but for lying to get the false documents through the door. Other than the metaphor about a door, you seem to have a good grasp of the indictment.

@justruthie5365 Some of the authors of The Constitution were men who had risked treason charges by The Crown in a time when a LOT of acts were considered "treason", so the ONLY crime defined in The Constitution is that of treason; With a VERY high bar. Many people have betrayed my country, a handful have been charged with treason, others will never face justice.

Conspiracy to obstruct justice is good, wire fraud is good, evidence tampering is a slam-dunk, the statute of limitations has run out on insider trading, mishandling classified material works with thousands of counts, theft of government property was settled by her returning WH property, willful destruction of government property, to wit: cellphones, could work. Perjury is still a possibility. I'm not a lawyer, just a former peace officer but I've seen people imprisoned for far less. Treason? not a chance' that is a term tossed about far too casually. See: Article III, Section 3, Clause 1. It's not about what you do, or even who you know. It's about what you know ABOUT who you know and how much power they have.

@badbeatlover23 Maxwell is in jail, she wont talk because she wants to live. There is video of the FBI carrying crates of evidence from the island mansion where Epstein was known to make blackmail tapes. Isn't it odd that no one on those tapes have been indicted? The top guys in the FBI do all seem to be made of Teflon though.
