  1. Hercules was an AWFUL abomination of a series ... sorry Kevin. Not treating myths with respect is bad (what would you think of a series that made fun of the Bible and trivialised the story?).

  2.  @msinvincible2000  I grew up watching lots of "mythological movies" from the 50s/60s ... and they were already pretty cringe / INACCURATE ... but the TV show lowered the bar on that quite a lot more. "Treating a story with RESPECT" is not something that Hollywood writers ever did ... and you can look at "The Rings of Power" now or at the "adaptation" of Jane Austen's "Pride & Prejudice" from 1940 (adapted to "southern US" and including a carriage race) or 2007 (with a cheesy end scene just for the US market). That is the one thing which needs to change most in Hollywood ... RESPECT for source material and LOGICAL STORIES.
