Dear Alexandria Occasio-Cortez, health insurance here in Germany works like this: you PAY from your INCOME and the amount is SIGNIFICANT ... and if you dont have a job you dont have health insurance. The lowest paid jobs are 450€ and you pay about 160€ for health care. Every month. No option, because it is mandatory. STOP LYING THAT THE GOVERNMENT (which is financed by tax payers anyways) pays it all. Oh and getting "outraged" over having to pay $200 for health insurance is stupid.
