  2. That "left + right + middle" style of organizing the talks is stupid. There were far too many slots for not enough time and it would not be enough time for a good talk.

  3. IMO the money is the lesser issue when it comes to "losing trust". The bigger problem is the "uninviting" of speakers who were on the initial list and the "you can only speak on this topic" dictatorial regime of the event itself. That seems completely wrong for a free speech conference and without any GOOD explanation as to this (and the radio silence)[1] even a good management of the funds would not restore confidence in the event as it was announced (as "free" speech). [1] "attempts to hack" is NOT a valid excuse because there will ALWAYS be ways to make this public to state "I am having a hard time atm, hang on" ... but since this did NOT happen I do not believe her.
