  1. The problem isnt religion, its FANATICISM. G.K. Chesterton said "When we stopped believing in god we didnt start believing in nothing but rather in everything." Translated this means there are "religions" which dont call themselves religions. Just look at Apple style stores every time a new iPhone is coming out ... "new technology" IS a religion. Yoga, Chinese medicine and all the other esoteric stuff ... all religions and just as bad IF TAKEN TOO SERIOUSLY. The worst offending "new" religion is US patriotism, because the followers of that religion BELIEVE they have the right to dictate who should rule other countries. This kind of "we are superior and thus have the right to invade other countries or start rebellions there" isnt new ... and was called colonialism. Sadly the people of the USA do NOT learn from history.
