  1. Women "cant" r@pe men ... according to the UK definition of the term. That should be all you need to know to see the UK as "effed up". The "2003 Electronic Communications Act" also basically introduced a "right not to be offended" ... which is applied only for "the new aristocracy" ... but never for "the outcasts".

  2.  @Adjudicator1  If the scrutiny is being limited by what "the system allows" it wont be much closure, because a renewed rejection of the appeal will be a blow.

  3. If the UK verdict had been allowed into the trial ... they could have attacked the judgement in court, which would have required another two weeks or so.

  4. There are no unbiased eyes in the UK justice system ... prepare for being disappointed when this attempt for appeal gets rejected rather quickly.

  5.  @MrBillUp  The ENTIRE british bureaucracy is being subverted/CORRUPTED by "a certain ideology" ... and this includes the justice system. When you can have someone go from "being arrested" to "being in prison" in FIVE HOURS (and without any legal defense at hand) for minor charges ... AND the court system does NOT SELF-CORRECT THIS, it is not a sign for "one of the best legal systems in the world. Stop daydreaming! The legal system is also about "the laws" ... and the "2003 Electronic Communications Act" basically introduced a "right not to be offended" for the "animals who are more equal than others", i.e. a new aristocracy! Magistrates are also chosen for their DIVERSE BACKGROUND ... and NOT because they "impartially and logically interpret the law". At least that was how it read in 2020 ... when I researched the "asian gangs" who STILL ARE abusing young girls for about eight months. Today there are even cases where a 15-year-old victim of abuse is being given to the family of her abuser as foster care ... and the legal system ... DOES NOT OBJECT/HELP THAT VICTIM. A certain scottish man was tried for a certain (not too funny) joke ... and they "cleverly" chose the charge in a way to NOT GIVE HIM A JURY TRIAL! So you can "screw" your experience as a juror ... if the system WANTS TO CHEAT ... it WILL CHEAT!

Sorry @BlackBeltBarrister, but I have to disagree with your assessment of the UK justice system, ... because there is a lot of LAWFARE (against a certain "Voldemort" and other "dissidents"), cases where people making jokes are sentenced because CONTEXT IS DETERMINED BY THE COURT, many crimes do not even get to the courts, because the police ARE UNWILLING to investigate "certain accusations"[1] ... and because something like the "Electronic Communications Act 2003" has introduced the "right not to be offended"[2] for SOME PRIVILEGED GROUPS while other groups are being denied the same right! (The OPINIONS of "what is offensive" are different for each group and thus the government has created a new aristocracy by choosing which group can be offended and thus protected by the legal system AND WHICH GROUPS CANT BE OFFENDED and thus wont be protected in equal manner! There is also evidence that suggests the ENTIRE british bureaucracy to be subverted by a certain ideology, which could/would result in many skewed trials due to political motivation ... and going from "being arrested" to "being in prison" in FIVE HOURS is quite extraordinary ... especially for the charges that were brought in the case. The website for Magistrates also HAD a "self-description" on it, which gave all the emphasis to "having a diverse background to be a magistrate" as opposed to "being FAIR and KNOWLEDGEABLE IN LAW". This is the first step towards SOCIAL JUSTICE, which doesnt have anything to do with "real and fair justice" anymore. On that topic: Lady Justice is "usually" depicted with a BLINDFOLD, which symbolises WILLFUL BLINDNESS to the status of plaintiff and defendant, to treat beggar and prince alike. The statue of Lady Justice on top of Old Baileys does NOT HAVE A BLINDFOLD! Just a bit of symbolism ... and the bit about magistrates should show that "things that SHOULDNT MATTER" are being taken into consideration in the UK justice system ... due to the POLITICAL WILLPOWER. tl;dr There are LOTS of "black sheep" within the justice system of the UK and the "politeness among colleagues" is not going to help cleaning the system. [1] I have a list of 2000+ articles about the appalling LACK OF JUSTICE for the thousands of 11+ year old girls who have been abused by certain groups ... which the government - that includes THE BUREAUCRACY (especially the HOME OFFICE) - wants to hide and not talk about much. I have - in 8 months of research gathering and reading those articles - even managed to do what the UK government FAILED TO DO ... find the REASON "why community X" is 90% of the perpetrators! [2] Cathy Newman was mocked for saying it in the 2018 car-crash interview with Jordan Peterson ... but she was correct ... FOR BRITAIN ALONE!

  7.  @deang5622  So you think "BELIEVE all women" and the powerful feminist movement in the UK has had no effect on the justice system? There is a case where a female student stabbed her boyfriend with a large-ish kitchen knife ... and she got off because the judge didnt want to stand in the way of "her dream of becoming a heart surgeon". Drug and alcohol problems were all disregarded ... and everything that counted was "she is pretty and a weak woman that needs to be protected from the harsh consequences if the sexes were reversed".

  8.  @deang5622  The UK justice sytem is UNWILLING TO CLEANSE ITSELF ... because they adhere to "codes of conduct" of "not criticising judges/colleagues". Thus I sadly have to fully agree with your assessment.
