  1. Seeing a display "live" is different from seeing it on a 2D screen. In times of countries in debt the problem is that MUSEUMS COST A LOT OF MONEY ... and thus they either a) NEED THE FUNDING from the entrance fees and/or b) NEED A JUSTIFICATION FOR RECEIVING PUBLIC FUNDING ... by attracting the biggest crowds.
