  2. It wasnt "americanised" ... it was "Bonn-i-fied" thanks to the TERRIBLE (small-town-minded) BUREAUCRATS which came from Bonn and completely ruined the city[1]. Also: INVESTORS are the bane of the city ... because they still buy what is left of OLD and BEAUTIFUL BUILDINGS ... to let it rot, tear it down and replace with UGLY BLAND BLOCK ARCHITECTURE. Apart from that the most annoying "americanisation" is GRAFFITI ... because there is no will to punish the "artists". We always had a really ANNOYING clubbing scene, which seems to have grown bigger. [1] I was in university in '89 and a friend of mine and I created a rule that "anyone with a car numberplate of more than two letters should be forced to park at the edge of the city and stick to public transports". German numberplates have 1 to 3 letters denoting the city ... and three-lettered cities are small, i.e. they DONT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY DRIVE!

  4.  @olkoehler  Good point ... it showcases the "general attitude" of IGNORING or FOLLOWING rules. A society where people ignore rules (when nobody - a cop - is looking) is a society where neighbor will screw over neighbor for a personal profit.

  5. Screw Disney ... it is run by a communist who slowly destroys every little bit the company has ... franchises, parks ... and the TV stuff. Disney was fake from the beginning ... and all the stories were "princessified" by Walt right from the start. [The prince does not "kiss Snow White awake", the dwarves build a crystal coffin and while carrying her to the prince's castle one of them stumbles which dislodges the poisoned apple from her throat.]

  7. The problem with americans is the "we are the best nation in the world" DELUSIONAL and ARROGANT PROPAGANDA. This makes them RESISTANT TO ADVICE FROM OUTSIDERS!

  8. Concerning "bicycles everywhere" ... this is more common in East Germany, because a lot of OLD PEOPLE dont have cars and go shopping with their bicycles. It was really hard to get a car in East Germany and a bunch of them "didnt bother" when the wall fell, because they didnt really have the finances to spare.
