  1. No ... the children are starving because there are too many people in countries which cant feed that many people ... BECAUSE THE WEST GAVE THESE PEOPLE MEDICAL AID TO ERASE CHILD MORTALITY ... BUT THE CULTURES DID NOT ADAPT TO HAVE FEWER BABIES. This resulted in an explosion of the population and created the problem of starvation in the first place.
