Dowhat Iwant Nah ... take away ALL of their things (money) instead. That is the worst penalty for such powerhungry people and it would be a nice boost in money that could be used to build that wall down south.

@distantdancer8946 No ... they should pay 10 times more ... because "the lie is half around the world before the truth pulls on its pants". Nobody will see the retraction/correction ... and media especially need a rule that "retractions/corrections need to be 10 times bigger than the lie" to make up for this effect. As for the cost of the investigation ... just "take everything the liars have" (taking into account that they could have "dumped" some of their money into their families or NGOs [which they themselves control]).
