  1. As an older german who grew up in West-Berlin in the early 70s I can only say that A WALL ALONE DOESNT STOP PEOPLE CROSSING IT! You need GUARDS who will be "NOT NICE" to the illegal crossers ... but since americans are UNWILLING to FUND sufficient "Border Guards" (stationary positions as compared to "Border Patrol", which are absent 99% of the time), the border wil NEVER EVER be secure. The wall helps, but isnt a full solution.

  3. Walls only work if they are manned by defenders ... and a "Border Patrol" isnt enough, because they arent around 99% of the time!
