  1. EVEN IF ... building the wall costs Texas a lot of money ... it will save in the long run and other border states should follow their example. As a german who grew up in West-Berlin though ... walls only work if they are manned, because tunnels and other methods of crossing could still enable loads of traffic in the wide open and EMPTY spaces of Texas.
