NATO - USA, GB, France and Germany - PROMISED "NATO will NOT expand eastward" in return for Russian troop withdrawal during reunification ... which was broken only a few years later. Ukraine was NOT destabilised by Russia ... that was done by the USA under Obama. So ... the USA is breaking promises and treaties left and right and still americans think their country is without fault ... ever ... and "the best country in the world".

The american people need to STOP BEING AUTO-PATRIOTIC and loudly declare that they a) do NOT BELIEVE THE CIA ... and b) do NOT WANT WAR. Ukraine was destabilised, a.k.a. BOUGHT, by the USA ... during the Obama administration. That country is run by CORRUPT OLIGARCHS ... and as a german I know full well that PROPAGANDA WORKS. So the enmity between Ukraine and Russia IS NOT NATURAL and will be fueled by propagandists.

I dont know about "Ukraine joining NATO" ... but at the same time when Ukraine was destabilised SYRIA was also destabilised (USA sent weapons to rebels) ... and both countries shared one thing: a RUSSIAN NAVAL BASE. Denying those two to Russia is probably the "immediate goal" the CIA wanted ... and that was also the reason for "taking Crimea back".
