  1. IF you want "better judges" ... you need to STOP VOTING FOR THEM ... because this turns them into POLITICAL ACTORS who use the apparatus of one or the other party OR sucks up to them. PAY THEM WELL ... and REQUIRE THEM TO BE GOOD! The same is true for DAs and Police Chiefs ... and every other top bureaucrat! THE LAW needs to be FIRST AND ONLY PRIORITY ... but NOT in the "using the letter of the law to defeat the spirit of the law" way that corrupts lawyers and anyone else in the justice system!
