  1. You will be forced to "work" "afterwards" ... for a "standard wage" ... except there wont be enough materials to work for half of the day anyways ... and half the stuff on the menu in your restaurant will be out.

  2. 1. climate change is REAL ... and WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO LET IT HAPPEN, because it will result in more deserts and destructive weather patterns! 2. ALL the "experts" are IRRELEVANT and STUPID ... because NO EARTH-BOUND MEASURE WILL WORK because of the tragedy of the commons! 3. the ONLY solution is a solar shield in space ... reducing the incoming radiation from the sun by "a fraction". This can be done by a handful of willing countries.

  3. @David Rivera That is YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS speaking ... but the point to put such a shield needs to be a "stationary position between sun and earth"[1] ... which is FAR FAR OUT and impractical as a weapon ... You dont want it to be in a low orbit either, because then it will interfere with all the geostationary satellites and even though this would be the cheapest solution fuel-/effort-wise ... it does seem like a "quick-fix have-to-fix-it often" solution. One alternative to "deployable and thus ADJUSTABLE panels" is to drag a big asteroid over (create some engines which will then attach to the asteroid and drag it into position) instead. The point is: a) I hope you read up on/know about "the tragedy of the commons" and understand why none of the climate agreements from the last 40 years ever worked ... not even with the most willing countries (even Germany NEVER fulfilled its promises) b) I hope you understand that "the experts" are COMPLETELY IGNORING "human nature" ... see a) ... and are thus to be ignored c) I hope you accept the fact that "more deserts" and "more and/or more severe hurricanes" isnt acceptable ... unless we accept that a lot of human suffering will happen when BILLIONS of people "start walking" towards the "safe" countries. [1] or else you might have to build one that surrounds the entire planet, which would require far too much material and effort ... and this shield "just" needs to be focused on the spot where the rays from the sun are hitting the planet perpendicular to the surface, which is the point of "greatest density", which thus requires the least amount of shield to be built. Building it to "shield" northern america would only be half as effective, because the rays are coming at a 30-60° angle ... CLIMATE IS GLOBAL ... and thus "shielding the equator" WILL result in the whole thing cooling down.
