Even here in Germany it is already "crowded" ... because there is no place where you can get away from other people ... there is always a next village a few kilometers away and the "nature" inbetween them is MANAGED. In 1905 there was a professor for architecture - Bruno Specht - who criticised the equanimity towards the "city architecture", where "ugly buildings are taken in without complaining about them". He made a neat comparison: If we were in a restaurant and the band plays badly we would complain, but an ugly building gets no reaction AND EVERYONE IS DEPRESSED BY UGLY BUILDINGS they HAVE TO SEE!
