  1. Well ... George Bush (senior) ran with "read my lips: no new taxes" in the 90s ... and then almost immediately introduced new taxes after becoming president. It isnt just the (D) ... it is a problem with "the swamp" ... because politicians FORGET WHO THEY ARE WORKING FOR after a while in the political circle-j...ing in Washington (and every capital on the planet).
