  1. 10:30 The avant garde was AWFUL ... because they were ARROGANT and thought they were "better than the old stuff" and had to REPLACE everything instead of cooperating with other styles of art. This is especially bad in architecture with the BAUHAUS style which basically eradicated any need for architects to learn past culture or styles. All they needed to know was geometry and the engineering part of building BIG (but ultimately boring) buildings. This "we need to replace everything with our style" way of thinking is part of the rhetoric/ideology of feminism/political "correctness" and even the anarcho-communism of Antifa!
