@geor664 Electric motors are NOT "where it's at" because all the people promoting them are not mentioning several "small details": - you still need to produce the power, so its not an ecological gain - the power needs to be stored ... but the ONLY source of the materials needed for the batteries is in "country X", which has made headlines due to its connection with a certain virus ... AND there are talks about war'n'stuff ... - there will never be a truck powered with electric motors ... and having two different types of propulsion at the same time is stupid So the aforementioned people are either stupid OR they want to sell you something.

@mashrien If it means that much to you ... why dont you STOP USING ANYTHING that requires power ... like the Internet for example? Even if your electric car is fueled by "green power" ... there is only a limited amount of it and the increased demand - due to all the idiots buying Teslas while thinking they dont produce any emissions anymore - gets supplied by power plants. Oh and do yourself a favor and do NOT mention nuclear power ... which is worse than coal.
