  1. Ummm ... SOMEWHAT WRONG, Nate ... you CAN defame people ... and the lawsuit is the only way to PUNISH YOU for defamation and to MAKE AMENDS. MANY PEOPLE ARE DEFAMED ... but they wont get a chance for correction through a lawsuit, because DAMAGES are a criteria in such a lawsuit ... and many defamations have either "negligible" or "hard to prove" or even "MENTAL DAMAGES" ... which prevents them from ever getting to court.
