As a german I found the "Hilter jokes" to be quite annoying ... because it was perpetuating the stupid stereotypes that "Germans are Nahtzees" ... because here in Germany we have had far too much focus on that shitty period already, which wasnt "german culture" at all. It is a fact that we have had far too many RADICAL CHANGES in our political and cultural system, that ALMOST NO ORIGINAL GERMAN CULTURE IS LEFT. Thus "strengthening the stereotype" is awful IMO ... but I would NEVER EVER go as far as calling it "offensive". I can laugh about the stuff ... but in a quiet moment I only sigh over the loss of original german culture and traditions.
