  1. Natural sciences lives by PRECISE DEFINITIONS ... and also by LOGIC and REASONING. Words NEED precise definitions ... but that is one of the things which are under attack these days, when the meaning of a word is being reformed to fit people's ideology. If you can't say what you're meaning, you can never mean what you're saying. The details are everything.

History is an EVOLUTIONARY process ... but the problem with "anti-traditionalist" thinking is that they have this idea of STARTING AGAIN WITH A BLANK SHEET OF PAPER ... which will not work, because it always ignores the one unchangeable thing: HUMAN NATURE! The difference between an animal and a human is that humans CAN "decide against their instincts" by using logic and reasoning, but far too many "homo sapiens" ONLY decide by their feelings and instincts. There is a rather brilliant quote from one of the Harry Potter movies which makes this clear: "We will have to decide between what is RIGHT and what is EASY. ... and instincts are the easy way. It takes EFFORT to overcome your instincts, but that effort isnt made these days anymore.
