***** Personally I think the fault lies with the BBC, because Clarkson was on "final warning" (after his politically incorrect children's rhyme (which no one should have had the right to show to others AND THEN TAKE OUT OF CONTEXT ... because Clarkson's personality IS part of the context AND words in themselves are never evil[1])) ... and the BBC did NOTHING to help him calm down or get his anger under control or whatever. After putting Clarkson on final warning for a non-issue they HAD TO let him go ... and they also made no attempt to "mediate" in the tantrum affair. They are just stupid followers of their gods of political correctness. [1] Easy example for "words are never evil" is: - your asshole - you asshole One is a description and the other an insult, so its ALWAYS the way you USE words that makes them bad.

+Peder Hansen So what? Usually there is ... - a hearing of both sides concerning the incident - an attempt to come to some kind of settlement (a fine or whatever). Not in this case, because there hasnt been any kind of compensation for the act of violence ... because if there had been it would have been "the end of the story". Usually "being drunk" is a mitigating factor ... of which there seems to have been another one (the false diagnosis of cancer or something). Oh and another important thing: how hard did he hit Tymon? None of use knows that but "people like you" make it look as if the mere act of punching (which could take the form of "strong shoving") is enough. It is just as Clarkson criticised: "You can't say 'Oh you look nice' to a female co-worker anymore" ... and that is the fault of politically OVERcorrect ZEALOTS like you. How about YOU using your head for once?
