Not really. Donald Trump is an idiot but Boris is very smart. Anyone who says they are the same is dumb.

***** Personally I think the fault lies with the BBC, because Clarkson was on "final warning" (after his politically incorrect children's rhyme (which no one should have had the right to show to others AND THEN TAKE OUT OF CONTEXT ... because Clarkson's personality IS part of the context AND words in themselves are never evil[1])) ... and the BBC did NOTHING to help him calm down or get his anger under control or whatever. After putting Clarkson on final warning for a non-issue they HAD TO let him go ... and they also made no attempt to "mediate" in the tantrum affair. They are just stupid followers of their gods of political correctness. [1] Easy example for "words are never evil" is: - your asshole - you asshole One is a description and the other an insult, so its ALWAYS the way you USE words that makes them bad.

The BBC never even TRIED to debate the issue of the punch ... because they had put Clarkson on "final warning" for singing an old children's rhyme containing "the n-word" ... which someone recorded and then put online. What someone does "during practice" doesnt matter ... and this should NEVER have happened. But they are stupid PC idiots which then stopped any negotiations for damages oh and did the guy who got punched ever press charges? How hard was the punch at all? Was Clarkson drunk at the time? You guys are IGNORING any possible mitigating factors with the "punch = fired" statements. P.S.: If a woman is drunk during sex she cant consent ... but a man is not given the same protection.

+Peder Hansen So what? Usually there is ... - a hearing of both sides concerning the incident - an attempt to come to some kind of settlement (a fine or whatever). Not in this case, because there hasnt been any kind of compensation for the act of violence ... because if there had been it would have been "the end of the story". Usually "being drunk" is a mitigating factor ... of which there seems to have been another one (the false diagnosis of cancer or something). Oh and another important thing: how hard did he hit Tymon? None of use knows that but "people like you" make it look as if the mere act of punching (which could take the form of "strong shoving") is enough. It is just as Clarkson criticised: "You can't say 'Oh you look nice' to a female co-worker anymore" ... and that is the fault of politically OVERcorrect ZEALOTS like you. How about YOU using your head for once?

True words from Clarkson ... but does the BBC LEARN FROM IT? Nope ... they keep their stupid company ideology and RUIN what could be a really great thing. THROW OUT THE FEMINISTS, GET RID OF EQUALITY OFFICERS ... and let go of your RACISM! Bring back MERITOCRACY and allow your journalists TO BE CRITICAL OF THOSE IN POWER again.

Dear Mr. Cockerell, being pro immigration and pro french coming to London is NOT the same as pro-EU, because the EU is NOT EUROPE.

Anyone who says that Boris is the same as Donald Trump is dumb. One is smart and the other cant find his ass without GPS.

@Andrew Neil / BBC Stop listening to just CNN and the New York Times. Get out of your COMMUNIST BUBBLE. NO ONE likes the green new deal and so on ... except for the COMMUNISTS who proposed them.
