  1. @Styx Ummm ... the reason to invade Afghanistan was to get rid of the Taliban who were sheltering Osama ... and the whole "capture the boss" mission was screwed up on purpose. Oh and without CIA-provided modern weapons (rockets) the Afghan rebels would not have fared as well; you NEED rockets to shoot down the attack helicopters who are easily able to spot and control mountain passes.
