  1. At around 500 shots or maybe a little more the barrel of a gun gets seriously warm/red ... and warped. But he had lots of guns to swap out for a non-malfunctioning one. Silencers dont improve the flight characteristics and speed of a bullet, so he would probably not have used one anyways ... if he really wanted to kill lots of people.

  2. Guns arent the problem ... it is the mentality. Canada has more guns per person and FAR FAR fewer gun crime.
